AWARE Week is coming !

AWARE Week is a co-branded PADI and Project AWARE campaign which will run from September 15 through September 23. The event dates were chosen to coincide with this year’s International Coastal Cleanup Day, September 15th, an annual event that takes place on the third Saturday of September around the globe. Based on the success of the initiative, we hope to make AWARE WEEK an annual campaign that would support PADI’s commitment to conservation and keep momentum moving with divers following Earth Day (April 22nd) and World Oceans Day (June 8th).

AWARE is a word PADI uses to organise conservation activities around the globe. Every year on 15-23 September, PADI Resorts will have some activities for scuba divers to have fun and at the same time play a role in conserving the ocean. Unfortunately, during the Covid-19 pandemic, we are still not allowed to join nor organise any of these.

This year PADI is calling you to Advance the Blueprint for Ocean Action. Here are some of the conservation activities that PADI has tabled for the diving community.
